Everyone may have heard the news from NAPNAP recently that they were updating their look with a new logo. As a chapter, IANP also is getting a new look and a new name! We have built our professional organization as the Iowa Association of Nurse Practitioners. But as the organization has changed through the years that no longer represents who we are. We are pediatric experts and our new name will reflect that. We are also a proud chapter of NAPNAP. As a national organization, NAPNAP provides a great number of benefits to our members. If you haven't been to the new website, check it out! You will be required to reset your password the first time you log in. There are so many different continuing education opportunities, no doubt you will find something of interest.  You can also be a member of smaller special interest groups, get up to date information on legislation that is important to you, and network with colleagues.

We have a new look and logo and we will be moving our website to the NAPNAP server and we've updated our Facebook page. We will send out a post when our new website is up and running so you can check it out! More details will be coming out in our October Newsletter. Stay tuned.

Now is a great time to involved in Iowa NAPNAP!! This is a rebuilding year with a new name and look. We have positions available on several committees and could use your help.

While we were not able to host a conference this fall due to the pandemic, you can still attend Pediatric Symposium: 2020 Targeted Topics on 10/16/2020. This is a virtual conference and you will be so impressed. I had the opportunity to attend the summer conference with their virtual platform and it was incredible. You will continue to have access to the sessions through the end of the year.

We are committed to our members and will be communicating more often. Please let us know if there is something we can do for you.
