Location: The City of Dyersville is a real place in the land mistaken for Heaven in the classic movie "Field of Dreams". Conveniently located on Highways 20 and 136, Dyersville is Iowa and the Midwest at its finest, a place where traditional values and easy smiles have not gone out of style.

Facility: A certified level IV community trauma care facility providing initial stabilization for all trauma patients while preparing the patient for transfer if needed.

A 20-bed critical access hospital, offering the following services for you and your family:

• Emergency/trauma
• Acute and skilled care
• Rehabilitation services (PT/OT/Speech)
• Ambulatory surgery
• Home care
• Specialty clinics Opportunity:

• High degree of expertise in internal medicine is required.
• Responsible for providing high quality patient care in the Emergency Department and inpatient hospital setting.The expectation of our providers is to function independently at the highest level of practice.
• Although this list is not fully inclusive, the general expectations for NP would include assessment, stabilization, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition of Emergency Department patients.
• Hospitalist responsibilities include admission, management of care, consultation with specialists, disposition planning, transfer, and discharge.
• The population served is all ages neonatal through geriatric.
• The position is rotating shifts at 40 hours per week.
• The critical access hospital contains 20 swing beds and three emergency department rooms. The swing beds accommodate acute/inpatient, skilled, observation, outpatient, and same day surgery.
• Average daily census is 3
• Average of 150 emergency department visits per month, average surgeries are 175 per year
• Staff consists of approximately 20 RNs and CNAs.
• Staff work closely with the multidisciplinary team, which includes pharmacy, social worker, nutrition, and PT/OT
• Telehealth system of Avel is utilized to help with admitting privileges on the inpatient unit and additional needs/resources for emergency needs. Compensation:
